Armed with my old Ultra 600 Polaroid camera and piles of expiring instant film, I set out to capture memories, people, and anything else that my camera and I happen across.
love your new blog! so cute...especially the pics of you and your family :) and wow, i'm so jealous you've been to australia & new zealand...i want to go so badly!
Sharon - Thanks for visiting the new blog! :) I'm really excited about finding something to photograph everyday. I loved my experience in Australia and New Zealand... It actually cost less for me to study there (including flight fares and living expenses) than to study in the States. Isn't that crazy? I totally recommend making an excursion out there at least once in your life!
I'm not a "professional" artist by any means, just someone who loves the novelty and tangible loveliness of instant film. I acquired my (very basic) camera from eBay over 3 years ago. In 2008, instant film officially became an endangered species when Polaroid announced it would discontinue the product. I have a store of film left, all set to expire by the end of summer. My mission is to photograph everything worth photographing. And everything that's not.
