Armed with my old Ultra 600 Polaroid camera and piles of expiring instant film, I set out to capture memories, people, and anything else that my camera and I happen across.

POTD: red
So this is what happens when you cover the flash with your fingers...
I'm not a "professional" artist by any means, just someone who loves the novelty and tangible loveliness of instant film. I acquired my (very basic) camera from eBay over 3 years ago. In 2008, instant film officially became an endangered species when Polaroid announced it would discontinue the product. I have a store of film left, all set to expire by the end of summer. My mission is to photograph everything worth photographing. And everything that's not.

Very cool ... you are SO creative, really!
Stylestance - Aww, shucks! Thanks! ;)
Cool! This reminds me of turning out the lights in the bathroom and chewing certs and watching the sparks in the mirror. Fun times!
Rosemary - Oooo, I've never tried that! Are the sparks bright?
Yes! They're bright green! And the BF just informed me that it's Wint-O-Green lifesavers not certs. Maybe a future POTD feature?!
