Armed with my old Ultra 600 Polaroid camera and piles of expiring instant film, I set out to capture memories, people, and anything else that my camera and I happen across.

POTDs: spontaneous "road trips" and beginner's botany
All the kiddos packed into my car (Tobey) for a trip to Sonic's after seeing the "free root beer float" promotion advertised on television. See, sometimes commercials do work. Especially if there's free stuff involved!
I really like the idea of your blog! And your photos are very artistic and creative. Thanks for sharing them. I used a Polaroid years ago and thought it was brilliant. I liked watching the images develop out of nowhere. Total instant gratification. What a shame it's going away!
I'm not a "professional" artist by any means, just someone who loves the novelty and tangible loveliness of instant film. I acquired my (very basic) camera from eBay over 3 years ago. In 2008, instant film officially became an endangered species when Polaroid announced it would discontinue the product. I have a store of film left, all set to expire by the end of summer. My mission is to photograph everything worth photographing. And everything that's not.
