Armed with my old Ultra 600 Polaroid camera and piles of expiring instant film, I set out to capture memories, people, and anything else that my camera and I happen across.

POTDs: movies and music
I saw Up again with Troy today, and found a truck decked out with some steer horns in the cinema parking lot. Yee-haw!
OMG, that hood ornament is hilarious! I've always wondered where people buy these--Pep Boys for Cowboys? Or, maybe they go out and (eek!) get the longhorns through their own means?
And re: "guitar face," my BF and I have a name for this condition: John Mayer Face; his face goes NUTS when he plays. :)
Rosemary - I've always wondered where they get those things too, although I've always had the bad suspicion that they got it through their own means. :( Yech! And you're totally right about John Mayer's "guitar face!" XD
I'm not a "professional" artist by any means, just someone who loves the novelty and tangible loveliness of instant film. I acquired my (very basic) camera from eBay over 3 years ago. In 2008, instant film officially became an endangered species when Polaroid announced it would discontinue the product. I have a store of film left, all set to expire by the end of summer. My mission is to photograph everything worth photographing. And everything that's not.
